Learning about economics and financial literacy becomes fun with children’s literature. Lynne Stover will introduce the new featured titles for this year’s Reading Makes Cents program, including “Water Day,” “Pa, Me, and Our Sidewalk Pantry,” and “The Fabulous Fannie Farmer: Kitchen Scientist and America’s Cook.” The lessons and activities are designed for K-8 library and classroom instruction, after-school groups, or extracurricular enrichment programs. This session includes an annotated bibliography and door prizes.
